History of The Bragg Family

The musical heritage of The Bragg Family goes back to Marcus’s grandfather, Doug Bragg. Doug had a band and sang country and rockabilly. He made regular appearances on the Big “D” Jamboree, the Louisiana Hayride, and at the Cowtown Hoedown with artists such as Elvis Presley, Little Jimmy Dickins, and Sonny James. Doug was the father of a houseful of boys.The oldest, James Bragg is Marcus’s father.
